What to think about for the bachelor party
- Get the guest list from the groom early, then let one person run the planning.
- Vote on two or three weekends before anyone books a flight.
- Put a few options up for a vote: a city trip, a cabin, a lake house or a night at someone’s place.
- Say up front what it will cost. Not everyone can spend the same, and it’s easier to hear before than after.
- If one person books the place, log it under expenses. At the end everyone sees who owes whom.
- Save the address of the rental, the restaurant and the meeting point under places, so nobody has to search the chat.
Common questions
- Does everyone need to sign up?
- No. People join with just their name, and nobody needs an app. Only the chat asks for an email address once, so not everyone with the link can read along.
- Can one person pay and the others pay them back?
- Yes. Each expense shows who paid and who it was for. At the end you see who owes whom.
- Can we vote on where to go?
- Yes. Start a poll with a few options, everyone taps what they’d like, and you see what most people want.
- Does the groom need to be in the group?
- No. Only people with the link can join. Send it to him later if you want him to see the plan.
